CSF perks up security for ASAP today

ABS-CBN Channel 2's noontime show ASAP will have its live program at the mall, signaling the end of the nine day festivities of the Sinukwan. The culminating program for the various cultural and dance presentations were also showcased Saturday at Robinsons Starmills event center.
City administrator Fer Caylao said that the program is expected to draw in thousands of crowds. "The security preparations are ready. Around 80 staff and artists of ASAP will be here tomorrow for their live program and we expect around 50, 000 people at a maximum to be here for the show," he said.
Caylao added the local police would be in charge of the security. The city government has assigned security personnel for the event and this would be augmented by policemen. The program that airs every Saturday on Channel 2 is expected to draw crowds as early as 8:00AM, Caylao said.

"We are inviting everybody who has been with us for the past nines of the Sinukwan Festival and those who have not yet seen the events to catch up and watch ASAP. The Sinukwan Festival is not just the provincial government's celebration or any official for that matter but it is our celebration as Kapampangans," Caylao said.
Officials advised the public who wish to watch the show to come early to avoid the large crowd that is expected to swell before noon today. The ASAP show will be at the parking lot of the of Robinson Starmill's right wing.
"We would like to believe that our security preparedness is at a 100 percent. We are ready for today's event," Caylao added.
