9 barangays benefit from social services

ARAYAT - Residents in at least nine villages here benefited from the Pamisaupan caravan, which aims to bring into the doors of poor the province's basic social and medical services.

The services include medical and dental services, livelihood and employment assistance, legal assistance and a feeding program for pre-elementary students.
The residents also got a chance to personally talk about the issues in their area with the governor.
During his speech, Panlilio emphasized the importance of bringing the services of the government to people and how he wanted to lead by example.
The governor also expressed his will to recognize the dignity of all individuals, whether rich or poor. "Nobody is so rich that they cannot receive. In the same way that nobody is so poor that they cannot give," he said.
